How tuition works
What sets tuition, how a place is held, how it is billed and which costs come on top. Figures are shared on the tour and on our enrollment page.
Tuition depends on the child's age and the schedule: three mornings, five mornings or long days on Tuesday and Thursday. We share the figures on the tour and on our enrollment page, and we write them out for you to keep.

Registration
Registration opens your family's file and covers the enrollment forms and the first week's materials. It is paid once, when you enroll.
Holding a place
A place is held with registration and the first month, and the first month counts toward tuition. If a schedule is full, your family joins the waitlist. When a place opens, we write to families in the order of the list.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly through our family portal, where you can also set up automatic payment.
Help with tuition
Ask us whether child care assistance is open this month and how it works with our tuition.
Siblings
If two children from one family join Madrone, we talk it through on the tour and handle it family by family.
Withdrawing
We ask for a month's written notice. You can give it in person or through the form on the contact page.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
A few things come on top of tuition: materials for clay, paper, paint and garden supplies, and the shared morning snack. Rain gear and boots come from home.
